The Wakesurfing Experience

Wakesurfing is the closest thing to an endless wave. A purpose-built wakesurf boat shapes a clean, glassy wave just behind the stern, and once you are up on the board you let go of the rope and ride it freely, a few metres from the swim platform. It runs at a lower speed and is gentler on the body than wakeboarding, which makes it one of the most approachable watersports for first-timers and one of the most rewarding for those who want to carve, pump and spin. It is a sport best shared. Friends take turns on the board while the rest of the crew cheers from the back seats, swaps tips and waits for their run. With Dubai Marina on the horizon and calm water ahead, wakesurfing turns an ordinary afternoon into one of the most exciting ways to spend a day on the water.

Meet the MasterCraft NXT22

Our wakesurfing sessions run on the MasterCraft NXT22, a purpose-built V-drive wake boat from one of the most respected names in towed watersports. Its ballast and wake-shaping surf system let you build a bigger, cleaner wave on either side of the stern at the touch of a button, so every rider gets a wave that suits their level. On board, it is built around the ride. A bow lounge and wraparound rear seating keep everyone close to the action, the black tower carries a bimini for shade and speakers for the soundtrack, and the swim platform makes it easy to step on and off the board.
